98-407 Student Taught Courses (StuCo): Storytime: I Survived the Internet Drama

The world has become more virtual, and we are constantly surrounded by online news. In this course, students will learn about various moments of Internet drama, primarily controversies around popular online figures, such as Shane Dawson, Miranda Sings, and Mr. Beast. Students will also learn how to engage in online discourse, develop their own opinions, and assess opposing viewpoints. To achieve this, students will provide a creative case study and participate in a Model UN-style debate to defend their perspective.
