The course emphasizes the translation of AI and optimization methods into actionable solutions within complex healthcare settings. Students will gain a deeper understanding of the healthcare contexts, operational constraints, and stakeholder perspectives that shape access, quality, and efficiency of care. Projects will be developed in collaboration with external partners and span diverse sectors of the healthcare industry, including outpatient and inpatient care, health technology, and pharmacy services.
