57-774 Vocal Pedagogy I

This course introduces students to vocal pedagogy, including a historical overview of the great pedagogues and the study of vocal physiology and anatomy. In addition, we will be studying posture and respiration as it pertains to singing, and hold discussions regarding the "voice science" aspect of vocal pedagogy and how it may play a part in furthering our understanding of vocal technique.
