51-725 MDes/MPS Design Lab

This lab course is intended to support MDes and MPS students in developing a variety of prototyping skills, with opportunities for application to projects in two concurrent studio courses (51711 MDes/MPS Studio I: Designing for Interactions and 51729 Communication Design Studio). In this course, students will learn a variety of sketching and prototyping methods for digital, conversational/voice, and AR interfaces. The course also introduces tools and basic skills for illustration, 3D rendering, animation, video editing, physical computing, and machine learning.
