47-758 Critical Evaluation and Assessment of Behavioral Science Research
6 units, Carnegie Mellon University
In academia, one of our main tasks is to be constructively critical of existing research in our area. We must read published and unpublished papers to stay abreast of the most recent developments in science, but we must not take those findings as automatically true or important. The overarching goal of this course is to help you learn how to be a critical, but fair, consumer of behavioral science research.
