2 units, Carnegie Mellon University
An internship can be a rich experiential learning opportunity providing an authentic environment for personal and professional growth. But experience alone does not imply learning. This supervised internship course engages students in activities that enhance learning from their internship experience. By articulating their learning objectives, reflecting on their experiences, and communicating their experiences in professional modes such as reports, students can significantly expand what they learn from an internship.
