36-300 Statistics & Data Science Internship

The Department of Statistics & Data Science considers experiential learning as an integral part of our program. One such option is through an internship. If a student has an internship, they dont have to register for this class unless they want it listed on their official transcripts. This process should be used by international students interested in Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and should also be authorized by the Office of International Education (OIE). More information regarding CPT is available on OIE's website. This course will be taken as Pass/Fail, and students will be charged tuition for 3 units. There is an approval process in order to register for this course. Please contact your advisor the Department of Statistics & Data Science for more details.
