27-105 Introductory Materials Research Experience

3–6 units, Carnegie Mellon University

This course is designed to give introductory experience in individualized research under the guidance of a faculty member. The topic is selected by mutual agreement, and will give the student a chance to study the literature, design experiments, interpret the results and present the conclusions orally and in writing. Faculty advisor selection must be in consultation with the MSE Undergraduate Academic Advisor.
