19-667 Optimization Models for Power System Operation, Planning & Monitoring
6 units, Carnegie Mellon University
In this course, commonly used mathematical models for power systems linear approximations and convex relaxations are employed to solve the optimal power flow, the unit commitment, the system planning, the state estimation and other similar optimality problems. All optimization models will be practiced in MATLAB.
