17-680 Special topics in SE: Software Design at Scale
12 units, Carnegie Mellon University
Many computer science courses focus on a specific topic area such as algorithms, data structures, machine learning, databases, etc., and their programming assignments are limited in size so as to focus on the specific topic. Realworld software systems are often larger, and the techniques used to build smaller programs dont suffice. In this course, students learn the additional techniques required to design and implement highquality software systems at scale, and practice these skills in a sequence of Java programming assignments of increasing scope.
