The Software Engineering for IS sequence combines classroom material and assignments in the fundamentals of software engineering 11791 with a selfpaced, facultysupervised directed project 11792. The two courses cover all elements of project design, implementation, evaluation, and documentation. Students may elect to take only 11791 however, if both parts are taken, they should be taken in proper sequence. Prerequisite 11791. The course is required for VLIS students.
